The Super Mario RPG 2 Proposal is something I've considered doing for a long time right now. What is it exactly? Well, that's a tough question to answer. For years now, many fans have wanted a sequel, but Nintendo and Square-Enix just don't seem to want to make a conceded effort to bring us one.

That's where this proposal comes in. In short: It's a game idea to send to both companies about a sequel to Super Mario RPG. Of course, it is much, much more complicated than that, but that's just to avoid all the complicated work.

The project would be something I would personally do. It would probably take 4-6 months to fully come up with and would be done as if I were actually designing a sequel. I've had ideas for years now, and a lot of people seem to like what I've come up with. The project would detail every aspect of the game.

Which leads to the here and now: This proposal does not exist. Why? Well, there's a lot of reasons. Obviously, there's no guarantee anything would come from it. That's a given which is actually perfectly fine. I have not done this because of the time constraints and because I don't know how seriously it would be considered. In fact, I don't even know how many fans out there would like me to engage in such a thing.

And that's why this page is here!

Smrpg Legacy is looking for some feedback on this issue. Is it worth attempting? What are your sequel ideas? Etc. I suppose if I had the support of many people, I may actually come with something to send to both companies, and who knows what could happen from there. I'm just wondering what people would think of this idea.

So, please let me know at smrpglegacy@comcast.net with the subject "Super Mario RPG 2 Proposal." You may not necessarily get a response, but your email will be read for sure and your thoughts will be counted with everyone else's thoughts and opinions.
