Well, it's been one year ago that Super Mario RPG Legacy started. On July 9, 2003 the site was started. Here is the year in review:

It's been a great year for the site. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was released, and the Super Mario RPG for GBA project is currently at it's highest point. Maybe Nintendo will finally start realizing fans really want this game and remake it.

Also, the site has reached it's all time high in popularity. We've become the leading Mario RPG site, and every day we're getting more popular. The site has also seen 2 staff members come and gone.

The forums have changed numerous amount of times. We started with 3 different EZboard forums, then progressed to Proboards, and finally we have Invisionfree. The site itself has gone over some major changes its self. At the beginning, the homepage was changed twice in the first day, and the site has been changed twice overall. A newer version was promised, but I never got around to it.

For the celebration, I tried redoing the whole entire site as it was when it started. For those who don't know, the site looked somewhat like this in it's first couple months.

The remains of the first version can be found at www.smrpglegacy.com/v1

Hopefully the site can progress. Hopefully Nintendo will release SMRPG on the GBA. And of course, there will be more Mario RPG coverage when Paper Mario 2 is released.

I'd like to thank all the fans that have supported the site throughout the year and have helped us out.
