Review
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Story: This game has one of the better stories in the Mario series. It starts out like most Mario games, saving Princess Peach. After some minor twists and turns, the story completely changes. After learning about the power of the Beanstar, Mario & Luigi then have to save it. Except one problem - it has broken into 4 pieces. The story is slightly different from this game’s prequels – Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario. Overall, the story is quite good. Story Score: 10/10

Game Play: This game has some great game play. It is unlike any other. You actually control both Mario & Luigi at the same time. It is a bit challenging to learn at first, but it makes the game so much more fun. Plus, there are all kinds of mini games throughout the main adventure that are really fun too. There are all kinds of game play mixed into 1 in this game, and it is really, really fun. Game Play Score: 10/10

Graphics: These graphics are awesome; in fact, they are some of the Game Boy Advance’s best. The characters look amazing, and there are almost no glitches whatsoever. The levels are some of the best ever made. They are 3-d and represent what they are supposed to look like very well (forest levels look like forests, etc). Plus, the colors in the game look really good too. There isn’t anything wrong with these graphics. Graphics Score: 10/10

Music and Sounds: This game has some of the best music in the Mario series, along with some of the best on the GBA. They are all pleasant to listen to, and there are a he variety of songs throughout the whole game. They represent the levels well, and are perfectly composed. Plus, there are also some remixed Mario tunes that have been redone really well. The sounds in this game are also good, and are placed perfectly. Both the music and sounds are good throughout the whole game. Music and Sounds Score: 10/10

Replay Value: Replay value – the only problem with this game. It isn’t too much fun replaying this game because it is quite long for a GBA game. There are a bunch of bosses though, but not too many. Eventually the game will get boring, mainly ‘cause of its length. There aren’t that many levels in the game either. The mini games are fun, but like the amount levels, there isn’t too many of them. Overall, the replay value is ok. Replay Value Score: 7/10

Bottom Line: This is one of the better Mario games, and is an excellent game overall. The story is great along with the graphics. The music s really good and the game play is really original. The only problem is the replay value, but it isn’t that bad. I highly recommend this game.

Overall Score: 97/100, an instant classic
