Secrets
- Well, this one was my true shocker - never thought that there would be a secret character in a Mario game. Anyways, to get Ms. Mowz, go to the Trouble Center in East Rogueport. Choose the task "???" and meet her in her respective location. She needs you to find a badge - go back to Hooktail Castle and into the room where you fought Hooktail himself. Go to the center and use Flurrie's wind ability to uncover a chest. Return to her and she will join your party.
- If you want to play all 4 of the Parlor Games, complete the following Trouble Center tasks.
- Another cool secret. In the X-Naut Fortress, go to sublevel 2. Now, on that level, there is a room where in the top right corner you can use the Spring Jump to get to a room with pipes. From there, go right and drop through the farthest ventilation shaft to the right. You will land behind a pink curtain - come out and Mario & friends will be 8-bit with the classical theme. Leave the room and the effect will be done. This can be repeated.
- These both take place at Glitzville. During the tournament, if you exit into the lobby, fans will be swarming Rawk Hawk. You can use Mario's hammer to get rid of the fans and get closer to Rawk Hawk. Smash him with your hammer and he will get angry at you. - After you beat the tournament the first time, go back and do it a second time as your "comeback". In the finals [I think], check out what one fan says - he calls Mario "Jumpman" - the name he had in the original Donkey Kong before he was called Mario.
- This cheat is....different. In West Rogueport, there is a lottery game. Now, you can set your GCN clock a day ahead to get an edge on the game. However, if you try this technique again, you will be docked 500 coins.
- This one isn't hard but has the potential to be missed. When you play as Peach, go to your left room which is the bathroom. Go behind the shower and a ! will appear - press A and she will take a shower. Her hair will now look different.
- This one is an easy one. When you receive an email from Princess Peach, wait a second or so to hear the Super Mario World Title Screen theme. When in Glitzville, you will receive emails from "X". When that happens, you will hear the music from Super Mario Bros. 3 - the Iced World theme [World 6].
- When in Creepy Steeple, after the Boos have been freed, head back to the main room. After a few seconds, the Boos will start trying to...attach to you. Use the Super Hammer ability 2 times and they will transform into the Atomic Boo. After he is defeated, he will drop the Lucky Start badge.
- Well, if you are missing some Tattle Log entries, there's a way for you to get some more. Head over to Professor Frankly in Rogueport and check within his yellow trash can. They include some bosses and 1-time seen enemies.
- Simply combine the L Emblem badge with the W Emblem badge - Mario will now wear the same cloths as Walugi.
- Sleep in an Inn 50 times and a Lakitu reporter will visit. He gives you 200 coins. |
