Our History
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Super Mario RPG Legacy started out as just a little site about my favorite game ever - Super Mario RPG. Well, I pretty much knew the game inside out. At the same time, I wanted people to get more of Super Mario RPG since I like it so much. Well, for school we did a job type thing and I got computers. I had to interview a guy who then told me about Microsoft Front Page, and I thought for my school project why not make a site? So I started making one just on Super Mario RPG. I started all the info around January/February. Almost all the info was done 3 months. Still, I needed a name. First there was the idea of a site called "All Super Mario RPG". That was good, but soon after I decided to cover all the Mario RPG's. So the name was changed to "Super Mario RPG Legacy". Soon after the site was actually put on the internet, July 9, 2003. This was huge for me since I never really did anything with computers, and now Super Mario RPG stuff was there for everyone. Well, a few weeks later, my friend and I talked. His name is Joey Nash, and he became a staffer working with me. He created the first ever forums, made through EZBoard. Well, that didn't last very long as they changed to Gaming Central Xtreme. Soon, I took them off as the official forums. Well, he got mad and quit, and we aren't friends anymore. The forums were replaced. In the meantime, another staffer called Andrew Reyes, left with Joey. He was a staffer because he got our site more popular. After a couple of lies, he was de-staffed.

Soon after I made some changes. I changed the layout to a more professional one with links on all pages. Also, I made some new forums through Proboards. Soon after I was introduced to the current forums made by Invisionfree. They were a lot better than previous forums. Also, the site starting having banners and buttons for people to link to us, and surely enough people started. We currently are getting 500+ unique visits a day.

Today, we are one of the most successful Mario RPG sites out there. We get all kinds of visitors from all over the world. We are constantly updated and provide you with Mario RPG info and new. What will happen next? Hopefully the site can stay successful with all kinds of fans.
