Anyways, for the update. We've gotten 3 new links, including Purple Yoshi's Page which was an original Smrpg Legacy affiliate. After a long time, they're back up and running. We also got a new Mario Kart link and a new Super Smash Bros. link.

The Square Apex Top Sites are down right now and it was stretching the layout so it didn't line up. That's been fixed as well

Yeah, those first 2 lines are exactly the same as the last update, I know. Still going to put that in there for right now.

Anyways, the update. Well, it's not a whole lot new. I owe people a lot for their fanart and other fan works. I haven't added what I told them I would.

So, for right now, I'm not going to put up the fan art and such. I'm just too busy and too disorganized. However, this is for the site - we've taken some major steps in the last weeks, setting new goals and paths. I can't really explain this right now, we're still waiting on something, but it's what we needed to do

Hockey's new season is coming up, bigger work schedule, SML, a new messageboard, and the strides we've taken in the last week on something...it's just too much right now

That's why I've been so busy lately, working on this new project. I'm focusing on getting SML off to a good start, so to everyone who's emailed me and waiting for their fan works to get posted, I apologize for the yet further delay

Updating

Anyways, I've gotten a lot of emails about various things which I need to respond to. Not only that, I have some comic submissions and some fan art submission and some fan fiction submissions which I need to put up

Again, the encyclopedia has not been started. I picked a bad time to start it up. Sorry guys, but I can't see it being started for a little while. My life's just too busy right now

Letters to Square-Enix and Nintendo

For 4 years now, we've been working on getting a portable version of Super Mario RPG. In the last few weeks, we've taken major steps into this project, and we need your help. We need a lot of Super Mario RPG fans to write personal letters to Nintendo and Square-Enix on why Super Mario RPG should be ported on the Nintendo DS

By personal letters, it means that your letter will be sent to Nintendo's Headquarters and Square-Enix's headquarters. We're trying to send out a packet of letters to each company showing why Super Mario RPG should be remade on the Nintendo DS. We truly think it would be a great game, and we hope that we can make both companies see the same way!

If you're interested in writing a letter, you can email me the letter at smrpglegacy@comcast.net - please have the subject be "Letter to SE/Nintendo". The letter's don't need to be long, but they also can't be incredibly short. About 5 sentences would be great, but the more you write, the better the letters will be!

Please write a letter to both companies. One letter can serve for both - you can change it from Square to Nintendo. We're looking for 100 total for each company, and I'll personally print your letter out and put it in a packet and send it. If we don't get 100, we'll keep trying. I hope to send this in about 2-3 weeks. Also, please try to get other people to write letters as well!

I know this update is reposted, but please read it. We've gotten some letters, but the more the better!

Also, as for the encyclopedia...still no progress. These last 2 weeks have been a problem for me...I've been visiting colleges, planning a road trip, work, and other stuff. I'll try and get working on it soon, but right now I'm concerned with the remake and it's progress, mainly with the letters

Lastly, 5 more things. First off, We're back up after being down for a day. Why? I renewed the site, meaning it'll be up for 1 more year!

As for the Mario RPG Encyclopedia...truth be told, I haven't even started it yet. I've been busy. Someone's been at our house for a week, my job takes up a lot of time, and it was the 4th of July.

Another thing, Fan Art / Fiction. I've gotten about 3 submissions for Fan Art which I need to reply to. Also...I still haven't gotten Microsoft Word so I can open the Fan Fiction pieces and keep the formatting. I need to call up the guy who'll get it for me, and hopefully I'll get it soon.

Next, the petition About 5 members at the forum, including myself, have been emailing sites asking them to link the petition. If you have a site or know a good site, please put the link up or ask a site to put it up! We're going for a lot of signatures this year.

Lastly, Sotss. Mr. X (message board member) and I talked to Qeomash 2 days ago and he's going to support this letter campaign as well! Sotss is back and helping with the remake!

The result? A crash course of the Mario RPG series: The Mario RPG Encyclopedia! I have yet to add any entries, but I plan to start very soon, adding a ton of them!

It's late over here, so I may change this update later with more news. I plan to enter 2 other top sites at least, so this update may change.

If you notice, the MP3's no longer work. Well, that's because I closed Nintendo Challenges - it's no longer a site. The videos on the download page also do not work because of this. I plan to re-upload the video's and MP3's soon when I have time.

Also, if you didn't know already, the Carolina Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup and the Miami Heat won the NBA Title. Hurricane's goaltender Cam Ward won the MVP trophy and Miami Heat Guard Dwayne Wade also won the MVP trophy in their respective playoffs. I'm just a big fan of the NHL/NBA, so I just posted it, even though it has nothing to do with the Mario RPG's.

I'm still having problems with getting the fan fiction up. I'm working on it, I just don't know how long it will be till it gets fixed

Anyways, we've got a ton of new links, so make sure you give all the upcoming sites a look over. I've also added a new piece of Fan Art and a new Fan Fiction. I have a few more that need to be added, but with my computer being wiped. I'm waiting on a number to activate the program to open up the files with. Look forward to those soon

I plan to answer the emails that I've received from the last few weeks. My email isn't up right now, but by later on tonight I'm getting it re-set up.

Basically, I can't check emails and I'm hardly on. I did manage to get my old computer working just for this update though.

I just want to say to everyone - enjoy the site right now. Especially right now. In about 20 or so days, it could go under some negative changes - if you're a member of the forums, you'll know what's going on 

Anyways, for the update. This has been requested over and over again, and I'm finally posting it. At E3, a new Super Smash Bros. was announced. Currently, the creator of the game is taking suggestions for characters to appear

We are trying to get Geno & Mallow in the next Super Smash Bros. game. If you want to help but suggesting them to be in the game, then you can find out how by visiting the Geno/Mallow in Super Smash Bros. Brawl page!

Also, Geno right now is on the top 10 list of most requested characters!

Also, I've put up the 3 latest chapters of "The Super Adventure" in the Fan Fiction section

To celebrate Smrpg's 10 Anniversary, I've redone the site completely. Other than the game sections, check out everything else - I've re-typed it all and added more information to all the pages! Everything has been changed - time for the Rebirth of Super Mario RPG Legacy
